Merriweather doesn't support Vietnamese in Adobe fonts

We are using Merriweather for our website laist.com as the font for all of our articles (and elsewhere) and we have some content to add in Vietnamese. The Google Fonts source of Merriweather seems to support the language, but not Adobe Fonts, which is where we source all of our fonts. Are there updates that can be made to fix this? And anytime soon?

May I suggest that you switch to Google fonts for this specific font or that you host the fonts locally on your server? I suspect that the web page latency would be less with either of these.
