Apache Reverse Proxy Config for Stirling-PDF

Hello,

I saw in another thread someone asking for the Apache Reverse Proxy config for Stirling-PDF and thought I'd share what I've got working for me. This will enable redirection of all non-http requests including those blocked by headers.

You'll need to:

• Update the ServerName with your fully qualified domain name
• Update ProxyPass and ProxyPassReverse with the IP of your docker container (and port if you're not using 8080)
• Update the path for both the SSLCertificateFile and SSLCertificateKeyFile

Place this in your active HTTP .conf file

<VirtualHost *:80>
   ServerName some.host.com
   ServerAdmin you@some.host.com

   ProxyPreserveHost On
   ProxyPass        "/" "http://ip-of-docker-container:8080/"
   ProxyPassReverse "/" "http://ip-of-docker-container:8080/"

   RewriteEngine on

   RewriteCond %{SERVER_NAME} = some.host.com
   RewriteRule ^ https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI} [END,NE,R=permanent]
</VirtualHost>

Place this in your active HTTPS .conf file

      ProxyPass        "/" "http://ip-of-docker-container:8080/"

      Header always set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
      Header always set Content-Security-Policy "upgrade-insecure-requests;"

      # If using Let's Encrypt - Should beset automagically
      Include /path/to/options-ssl-apache.conf

      SSLCertificateFile /path/to/fullchain.pem
      SSLCertificateKeyFile /path/to/privkey.pem
   </VirtualHost>
