[Feature Request]: Remove text with manual redact

Feature Description

I think that "Manual Redact" should be able to out put a pdf like "Auto redact" does.

Auto redact removes the text from the redacted output so the redacted text can't be copied and pasted.
Manual redact is only putting a layer over the text but if you copy and paste the text is still there.

Why is this feature valuable?

Because is how people think the manual redact works.
And no, out putting a "pdf image" is not an option as the pdf is no more accessible.

Manual redact was already possible as you can see here #4462 but has disappeared since v2.

Could you please reimplement this? 👍

Hi @mokkin,

apologies for the inconvenience. The current V2 is running on an older version (V1.4) of the backend, but this will be updated shortly. A PR is already in progress, and you can expect the fix in the next major release.

Text removal (both manual and auto) will also be possible soon. You can subscribe to the following PRs for updates: #5183 for V2 text removal/auto-redact and #5193 for the backend update

Just to be clear, manual redact is going take a bit more time. For configurable DPI that will after #5193. There is no timeline on manual AFAIK.
