What is PhyloStyloTastic? Simple, portable styling for phylogenetic (and other) trees!

It uses a stylesheet language which is not (quite) CSS, but uses the same syntax and concepts to style tree figures for interactive display, printed output, etc.

We have a NexSS spec that explains the nitty-gritty details, or you can peruse a conceptual overview to see if this is a tool that makes sense for you.

Of course, implementation is the bigger challenge. We currently have rough NexSS interpreters for the ETE Toolkit (in this repo) and Mesquite (stored elsewhere) to play with.
