Illegal SNI hostname received

I'm using trustunnel on two android devices. The config is identical except username and password. Both configured with custom sni "fakedomain.com|realdomain.com" (changed it). One device connects seemlesly while another can't connect. The server is throwing [WARN] [rustls::msgs::handshake] Illegal SNI hostname received "fakedomain.com|realdomain.com". Am I doing something wrong?

Could you please specify which version of the app is installed on each of your devices?

@oksenina Both clients are v1.1.1 and the server is 1.0.33

Starting with version 1.1.1, Custom SNI has a dedicated input field, so please do not use the old combined format fakedomain.com|realdomain.com.

Please configure the fields separately:

• Domain name from server certificate: realdomain.com
• Custom SNI: fakedomain.com

The | separator is no longer required. The server warning indicates that the entire combined value is being sent as a single SNI hostname, which is invalid because a hostname cannot contain |

After updating the settings, please try connecting again. If the issue persists, remove the server configuration and add it again using the separate fields.

Please let us know whether this resolves the issue. If not, please also provide the device models and Android versions
