Description

Note, we have not been able to write web-platform tests because the algorithm runs deletion on a long running timer. WPT does not have support for moving the clock forward yet.

Also, we'd like to acknowledge webkit has done a lot of work in this area already. We appreciate that work and hope we can come to some alignment across browsers on baseline functionality. Thank you!

A few updates to this feature:

• WPT exists now for bounce tracking mitigations: https://wpt.fyi/results/nav-tracking-mitigations?label=experimental&label=master&aligned
• The specification has changed slightly to remove the requirement for a site to any sort of stateful access (i.e. cookie reads). See Update BTM spec to encompass stateless bounces privacycg/nav-tracking-mitigations#95 for context.
