Prerequisites

  • I have carried out troubleshooting steps and I believe I have found a bug.
  • I have searched for similar bugs in both open and closed issues and cannot find a duplicate.

Describe the bug

I have cloned the twentytwentyfive theme with a name of 'anatomy'
Loaded playground with plugins 'gutenberg' & 'create-block-theme' and saved in the browser
Connected my github account and loading the theme from my repo for the 'anatomy' theme
Made some color palette changes
Then used the Export to GitHub to create a new PR

Expected behavior

I was expecting to create a new PR for my theme.

Actual behavior

After clicking 'Create this Pull Request' I get and error:

There was an unexpected error (Sorry, your input was too large to process. Consider creating the blob in a local clone of the repository and then pushing it to GitHub. - https://docs.github.com/rest/git/blobs#create-a-blob), please try again. If the problem persists, please report it at https://github.com/WordPress/wordpress-playground/issues.

This produces the error for me using Chrome on a Mac

Isolating the problem

  • This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active.
  • I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.
