pip3 install fails

pip3 install fails on a Raspberry Pi, on main or latest release version 0.2.13 with this message:

Sadly I just pulled main and tried again and I get this:

For some details:
I simply pull master and run pip3 install -r requirements.txt

try this (compiles dependencies from source)

pip3 install wheel
pip3 --no-build-isolation --no-dependencies --no-binary :all: -r requirements.txt .

$ pip3 --no-build-isolation --no-dependencies --no-binary :all: -r requirements.txt .

Usage:   
  pip3 <command> [options]

no such option: --no-build-isolation

Hi @darioAnongba,the --no-build-isolation flag requires pip >= 10.0. Try updating pip first:

python3 -m pip install --upgrade pip
pip3 install wheel
pip3 install --no-build-isolation --no-dependencies --no-binary :all: -r requirements.txt .

Side note: Hello @accumulator, I noticed that aiorpcx is listed in the dependencies but doesn't appear to be imported anywhere in the codebase. Is this dependency actually needed? If not, removing it would solve this issue entirely for Raspberry Pi users.
