Large shaft components not breaking properly

Attempting to break any large shaft component (steam turbine, gas turbine, generator, and motor) by left clicking directly on the shaft ghost block (front or back) breaks the ghost block but not the whole device. See video. [For some reason the first half of the video won't play.]
