Unable to activate Call blocker

The issue

I am unable to activate the blocker for calls, clicking on the slider registers a click, but it stays disabled. All permissions except for calendar are given. Pixel 7 Pro with latest stock firmware.

Do you mean, the switchbox cannot be enabled? Nothing happens when tapping on it?
Not sure why this happens, you can select SB as the default caller ID app in system settings, then enable these options

That is exactly what I cannot enable. It jumps back to disabled, or rather doesn't even switch visually to enabled.

Your system is preventing you from choosing the caller ID app, any idea why?
Anyway, you can manually choose it in system settings.

Absolutely none, but now that I know what happens I went to the settings and switched it manually - thanks!
