How to install on Ubuntu

I tried to follow the build instructions in the readme, but it seems that the install and build yarn files ar emissing from the repo. Has this process changed? How can I install on my ubuntu container?

Why do you want to install on an Ubuntu container ? Why not use homarr's container directly ?

I can install yarn, but the commands you mention in your reply and in the read me all lead to a file not found response. Indicating that yarn is looking for a file called “install” and a file called “build”, which are not present in the cloned foot directory.

it seems you are using a translator to answer, correct ?
You should be able to run yarn build or next build from the root directory of homarr

Nope. iOS auto response doing its thing. No translation here. Just plain English. I am not sure what you did not understand though, I simply get a file not found response when running those commands in the root directory. Yarn is installed and responds to commands but cannot find the build or install files the command is telling yarn to look for. I guess because those files do not exist. Therefore I cannot install Homarr.

The package.json file should contain the necessary scripts to run homarr

So what are the correct commands to run then seeing as yarn install and yarn build are not working on a base build following the instructions provided in the readme?
How does harm know to look in the package.json file to find the scripts? I assume you mean that the install and build scripts are present in the package.json file?
