Adding an upload option in "Extensions updates"

Thank you for the latest update and the new installation feature within Panopticon. I would like to make a suggestion, it would be great to allow file uploads directly from the "Extensions updates" section.

Some extensions, such as RS or SPPageBuilder, sometimes have issues updating via a direct link. Because of this, you have to download the update file from their official website and manually upload it to the site to complete the update process. It would be fantastic if this could be handled directly from the "Extensions updates" page.

A potential scenario: within the "Extensions updates" section, you filter all the sites that have an update available for a specific extension, select those sites, and right next to the "Update selected" button, there is an "Upload to update" button or something similar, Of course, this is just a suggestion, if something like this is possible to implement.

I think that's a sensible request. I am now tracking this as feature ticket #962.

The implementation is now complete. You can filter by the same fields you do in the Extension Updates page, plus a field which lets you display sites based on the extension's update status. The reason for the latter field is quite simple. You may want to install a new version of an extensions into, say, all Joomla 6.0 sites that have this extension installed regardless of the update status as you know that many of these sites won't even report the update, or because the version you are installing is a beta / dev release.

Given that I released 2.0.0 just a day before this discussion, the answer is not very soon, I'm afraid.
