@alexlib , I have just submitted a pull request to add support for VortexFitting. I included only the PIVPY --> VortexFitting function itself and the test for it.
Initially, I wanted to include a Jupiter tutorial to the pull request. But when I was writing the tutorial, I had to import this new PIVPY --> VortexFitting function. Since the function was not yet in the package, I couldn't import it. Different work-arounds either didn't work out or I didn't like them.
I decided that if you accept my pull request and update the package, I'll go ahead, download it and finish the tutorial notebook then.
