Hi, I am a Debian community member, and I am looking into packaging this and a few dependencies from the Anchore organization.
However, most of the dependencies in the org do not have the Copyright owner specified.
LICENSE
Copyright [yyyy] [name of copyright owner]
Due to Debian strict policy around licensing, I cannot package these as they are.
This does not have to be a person name, and the year is optional.
Valid Example:
Some packages (like k8s) avoid this by specifing the license in every file, like for instance:
Copyright 2016 The Kubernetes Authors.
The repos I'm currently looking at are:
github.com/anchore/fangs
github.com/anchore/clio
github.com/anchore/syft
github.com/anchore/grype
