"Installing Pulumi" when switching projects that use different sst versions

I have one project running SST 4.3.1, and another one using SST 3.17.5. 

each time I switch from working one to working on the other, I'm noticing SST reinstalling pulumi, presumably because of the version mismatch, which takes 5-10 seconds.

Other than using the same version of SST across all my projects, is there anything I can do to improve this situation?
