This likely stems from the change in PR #37007, which refactored NumberControl to defer its onChange dispatch until the field loses focus (onBlur) instead of firing on every input event. The goal was to fix a field-clearing issue in matrixify, but it has a side effect: when you click the stepper arrows, the value updates internally via a pendingValueRef, but onChange is only called when the input blurs [1]. Since clicking the arrows doesn't necessarily blur the field, the change never propagates to the parent component — making the arrows appear broken while typing still works (because you eventually tab/click away).

The fix would be to handle stepper arrow clicks separately so they dispatch onChange immediately, or to detect when a change comes from the stepper (as opposed to keyboard input) and flush the pending value right away. The relevant code is in NumberControl/index.tsx.
