I am interested in using this solution with several Federal Government sponsors, including sponsors with requirements to operate in AWS GovCloud regions. The current deployment documentation lists AWS GovCloud us-gov-east-1 and us-gov-west-1 as unsupported regions.

Support for deploying Innovation Sandbox on AWS in GovCloud regions.
One visible blocker is the current dependency on CloudFront for web delivery, which isn't available in GovCloud. Ideally, the solution could keep CloudFront as the default for commercial regions, while using a Regional API Gateway for GovCloud. This likely requires more than simply disabling CloudFront.
Additional context
This is a fairly large ask, but it would open up usage for federal sponsors who are interested in this product. The solution is especially well suited to them because of its cost controls and security boundary model.
