could you add --amount option to trade order ?

It would be usefull to DCA a fixed amount of money (ex; 500€ every month on 1rTCW8)

Hi @GregAce, thank you for the issue.

The problem I see with this is that the price of 1rTCW8 is fluctuating, so from a month to another your 500€ would not allow you anymore to buy some 1rTCW8. In fact I think it's already the case since 1 1rTCW8 is worth 600€ at that moment.

Please let me know if you find an idea to achieve this.

Also, bourso-desktop allow you to do just that, and the next version will give you a heads up when your cash balance is not sufficient.

agree, this was a bad example :)
My need is to buy 500€ of 1rTWPEA (6€) on my PEA every month, so it makes sense.

Oh ok so then bourso-desktop is perfect for this use case, you can either set an amount in € or amount of shares to buy per month/day.
