[Expansion] - State - simplification

• It should be simplified, working for
  • verification
  • history
  • expansion itself

I feel the num of properties in this file is out of control now.
Way to many methods available and very hard to understand.
Are we able to merge some of the setXYZOpen and openXYZModal or closeXYZModal into a single method instead?
