Email notifications

It would be great to have an option to set up Email notifications. When people get tagged and don't have the app on their phone or push notifications enabled, it would be great to have them informed via email. Now we need to send separate messages to people saying "hey, did you see the message I've sent you on Campfire?". Very appreciated.

Hi, in order to implement this, SMTP has to be configured first and for that there is #72, and a PR has been raised. Now I don't know if the email notifications are in plan for Campfire at all, maybe @monorkin will have more info. But if the approach from #72 is used, and this feature is implemented. it would seem that it would be an optional feature (optional in a way, that if SMTP is fully configured).

I have the same need and maybe a bit more : the ability to reply directly by email but I don't know how difficult it is to implement.

Since the service has no dedicated app, I was thinking about using it through my email clients when possible.

Yeah, if the approach for SMTP usage, from #72 or any new PR for that is raised, is implemented, then I think there should be no obstacles to add any type of email interaction with users via email, the only question would be, is it "desirable" in the app or not :).
