Unable to copy rules to SteamOS Udev folder

I'm a total noob. I've installed oversteer in SteamOS, using a flatpack and when trying to run the commands after install, it falls to copy the 3 rule files to the Udev/rules.d folder. It looks like these folders are locked and I don't know the proper command to unlock them. Can anybody assist with this? If like to get my Thrustmaster TMX pro working on my Steam PC.

Did you ever figure this out? Im experiencing this same problem right now with a logitech wheel, but unable to move those three files or successfully execute that command

No, unfortunately. I've moved from SteamOS to Bazzite and now I've settled on CachyOS. I did come across a github with a focus on the TMX wheel, https://github.com/Kxzrtx/Thrustmaster_TMX_Driver . I still have intermittent problems getting the wheel to show up in oversteer, but it's the best option, for now. It seems that Linux still has some issues with USB, from my experience anyway. My primary driving sim is iRacing, and it doesn't have Linux support, yet. I'm having other issues with the TMX and iRacing so I'm not even using it right now. I'm considering the Moza R3, but I don't know if that's a solution either. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help for you. I hope you find a solution.
