Can this became an opinionated rpc-like api layer ? (like trpc, orpc, ts-rest)

Found this lib in better-auth docs, and after a short look of the API, I'm wondering how better-call compares to trpc, orpc and ts-rest.

Hi, I came here for the same reason. I think better-call can fit a very important place in the ecosystem that is being able to "plug" a piece of route mostly anywhere.

I'm not a big fan of trpc's as it is not explicit on which HTTP verbs to use - which makes it very opinionated. To me, better-call is a less opinionated trpc that you can "plug" mostly anywhere.

I'd love to see it evolve and grow in adoption. I'm starting to experiment with it for Colyseus as I wanna make fully typed routes available from its client SDK.

I think typed RPC is already available via the client using the better-call + better-fetch combination. This is also how better-auth provides auth and authClient under the hood 😁
