DAVx5 not present in WhatsApp add contact

Whenever on WhatsApp I try to save a new contact, in the "save to" there is not the DAVx5 account (all the others are there).
Is there a way to have it there? Otherwise I have to copy the name and the number and paste them in the new contact created in the address book.

Hello,

If you click on "add contact" in WhatsApp, you should be able to click on "Add information" – then you can open it in the normal contacts app, and there DAVx5 is an option where you can save it to.

I recently found a workaround for this, you can go into WhatsApp -> Settings -> Privacy -> Contacts then disable "WhatsApp contacts". You'll then have an "Add to existing contact" button which will cause the native UI to be used, where you can create a new contact at the top

I didn't have this WhatsApp contact feature until now. It was added with the latest update, but unfortunately the 'Add information' button that triggers the native UI has been missing ever since, even when WhatsApp contacts are turned off. I can confirm that the button was there before I had this WhatsApp contacts feature. I also do not have a "Add to existing contact" button, I can only create a new one.

I used to have this option in Whatsapp contact creation (add information and then davx5 shows up) but it appears a Whatsapp update in the last month or so has removed it. Has anyone noticed this and figured out a work around?

I also got the update now, and the option is gone... You can now only copy/paste the number into a real Android contact.... It is extremely unsatisfying...
