Auto Language Detection Works but No Visible Code in Transcripts/Logs/Call History #659

Auto language switching functions correctly (Hinglish→Bengali handled seamlessly), but no language detection data appears anywhere:

  • Transcripts: English-normalized only
  • Dashboard call logs: No detected_lang field
  • Call history: Missing language metrics

Expected: Visible detection confirmation for monitoring/analytics.
Actual: Works invisibly (great UX, needs observability).

Reproduction

  1. Dashboard → Agent → Audio tab → Auto Language Switch: ON
  2. Messages: still_there: {"en": "Are you there?", "bn": "আপনি আছেন?", "hi": "आप हैं?"}

  1. Test call (+91 number): Speak Bengali/Hinglish 5 turns
  2. Check:
    • Transcripts tab → No lang codes
    • Call history → No language field
    • Analytics → Missing lang distribution
