Cannot compile on Void Linux with musl

I tryed to compile on Void Linux musl version following all the instructions, but it failed with the following error:

CMake Error at /usr/lib/cmake/llvm/LLVMExports.cmake:73 (set_target_properties):
  The link interface of target "LLVMSupport" contains:

    Terminfo::terminfo

  but the target was not found.  Possible reasons include:

    * There is a typo in the target name.
    * A find_package call is missing for an IMPORTED target.
    * An ALIAS target is missing.

This is more a question than an issue, so I've migrated it to discussions and I hope you can get some support from a Void Linux user.

I encountered the same issue on Ubuntu 24.04.1. It appears that attempting to compile c3c using the CMake/Make extension in Visual Studio Code results in the same error you described.

I resolved the problem by manually compiling (via shell) c3c as outlined in the README.md file. The steps are as follows:

1. Navigate to the c3c directory:

   cd c3c

2. Create a build directory:

   mkdir build

3. Enter the build directory:

   cd build

4. Generate the CMake build cache:

   cmake ..

5. Compile the project:

   cmake --build .

If this solution does not work for you, please let me know, and I will try to investigate the issue further.

Thanks for the reply. I rechecked instructions for compiling. I forgot to install headers for ncurses. That caused the problem. The error message tells about something named terminfo so I could not figure out that the problem was with ncurses.
