socket error running code16 script

I installed a working OpenVas. Run an openvas-check-setup which was OK. I ran your scanning python script code16.py and got the next error:

Failed to acquire socket.
[-] TargetID already exists, try different target host/IP

Any thoughts..?

sure (and sorry for delay). python-code was prepared only as a proof of concept so there is a lot of work still to do. mentioned 'targetid already exists' is the one of that cases... :)

one more thing: code16.py was prepared to work for OpenVas 6. afaik there is already version 9.
