Review list of previously bounced contacts to identify reason for bounce and next steps

In addition to the above grid with contacts from the TIDES webinar, this week I exported the bounced contact list from the TODS webinar. I combined the two lists, removing duplicates, and marking which campaign they bounced from.

AMs had previously gone through and cleaned up contacts that had HARD bounced, the ones that were sent but never received. However, now I have exported the second sheet in this document which lists contacts that our emails were never even sent.

The goal here is to make sure the contacts in our CRM are receiving our emails. Once I am able to properly tag all the AMs to their corresponding agency, each contact has a reason why they did not receive the email. Of the 452 contacts, AMs will need to check the reason why and "clean" their contacts. This project will require the following steps:

• Mark Account Managers to their corresponding agency contact.
• Create GH issues for each AM to review their bounced contacts.
• Give AMs a guide with examples of "how to" clean a contact, ie "Mark contact as marketing contact," or "Unbounce", or even adjust the email address to correct spelling errors or notate that a contact's email no longer works. Examples below:

The grid is now complete, having organized the bounced contact by Account Manager. For next steps, we should open tasks for each separate account manager to review their bounced contact, figuring out the best course of action for each.

Some contacts are incorrectly marked as "Non-Marketing Contact," so enrollment is easy. However, the majority of contacts are hard bounced, meaning there may be an issue with the spelling of the address, or the contact may no longer be at their company.

There are also a substantial amount of non-agency contacts that have been imported from conference attended, government organizations, or agencies without an account manager.

@laneymangan, the research portion of this task is complete. I will leave it open though until we mutually agree on next steps regarding this CRM maintenance. Thanks!

@AnthonyRollins apologies for not getting a chance to bring this up as I was out this week, but I'd like to get your insight on our CRM transition timeline and if you feel this substantial contact audit is in our best interest. I'll bring this up at Monday's Delivery check in.
