[YOUR TITLE]: Accessibility issue in the footer #12364

Description

@NicoletaBordea

Description

We have users reported several accessibility issues in the footer:

  1. Close button of language Combobox with "button" role has no associated label
  2. Language combobox with role="combobox" does not associate label
  3. The 'id' "assistiveStatus" specified for the ARIA property 'aria-labelledby' value is not valid
  4. The Language drop-down in the footer is not announced by the screen reader. When navigating with a screen reader, there is no indication that a drop-down control exists, and the available options are not read aloud. As a result, users relying on assistive technology are unaware of this interactive element and cannot use it effectively.
  5. Incorrect list items information provided for the screen reader users. Visually there are 5 list items available where as screen reader announces as 4 list items.
