it was working well. it required uploading a song before it worked otherwise it complained about weights in distribution. it made it through the entire song list and then went all ist schon in der Liste! on me.

Hey, thanks for the interest in the project :D

The server keeps a list of recently played songs and skips them, as it is quite an issue to have songs repeating to quickly after themselves. I've learned quite a lot about psychology here, and I was surprised that even repeating within 10 or 20 songs feels a lot like 'huh, ive listened to this a hundred times already, whats going on'. I think in the android app I mainly use to listen to songs from this server I even went to 30 and its still to low.

For testing, until you have enough songs in your library, you can set GL_REPLAY_PROTECTION to a low value like 1 or so;
