[Feature] A form UI component for adding a tallyItem to a TallyReport ? we should design that structure too

Hi Joey! I’d like to work on this issue if it’s still available.

Before implementing, I wanted to confirm the expected structure for the TallyItem form. Should this be a simple controlled React form with validation (required name field), and do we have any preferred UI library (e.g., Tailwind components, MUI, etc.)?

Also, should the picture field support file upload or just URL input?

Good morning, Yes should still be available. At this time, likely a simple form but optional validation to pass in since at this time with those fields not sure what "valid" would be so if we make it optional and accept a validation function then that should satisfy both conditions. Also at this time I do not think we have settled on a preferred UI library but Tailwind should work so lets start with that. Thank you for sending emails, its been hectic with Citizenship Day and that is finally come and pass successfully. Thank you for the clarification and feedback.

I went ahead and implemented the form with optional validation support as you suggested and used Tailwind for the UI. I also submitted a PR with the changes.

No worries at all about the delay—I completely understand. I'm glad to hear Citizenship Day went well, and I appreciate you taking the time to review contributions when things settle down.
