Show Project Directory Instead of Empty Buffer for New Projects

Hi,

Is there a way to show the project directory when no previous session is available (e.g., for a new project)?
In other editors, after selecting a project, you’re presented with a menu (find file, git status, search, etc.).

I’d prefer to see the project directory immediately rather than starting with an empty buffer and opening it manually.

I open neo-tree for this.

If u care about auto opening it,
You can create an auto command in your config that will open any viewer of your choice after opening the project (SessionLoadPost pattern). See the example for dotfiles at the very bottom of the readme, there is a code for calling this auto command.

But for a new project, there may be a situation where there will be no files there and there is nothing to view.
