I created a public Agent Skill to help AI assistants follow Community Scripts contribution rules before editing scripts or opening PRs.

Goal

Reduce repeated mistakes in AI-assisted Community Scripts contributions by giving agents a compact checklist with official source links, repository routing, ProxmoxVED script rules, JSON metadata requirements, dev mode guidance, and PR template checks.

This is intended to help the Community Scripts project. Copying, forking, or transferring the repository to the community-scripts organization is welcome. If maintainers want to own it, I am happy to transfer it so access can be managed by org teams.

I have just updated the skill (community-scripts-rules) to 100% align with the latest pve-script-creator.agent.md specification:

• Replaced has_arm with architectures (["amd64", "arm64"] / ["amd64"]) matching CT var_arm64
• Required full URL for repository (https://...)
• Removed top-level config_path (now specified under install_methods)
• Documented platforms and app_vars 3-part unattended install pattern (read, export, JSON declaration)
• Added multi-forge release fetchers (fetch_and_deploy_gl_*, fetch_and_deploy_codeberg_release, fetch_and_deploy_from_url) and arch_resolve
• Codified data persistence standards (/opt/<app>_data vs create_backup/restore_backup manifest helpers)
• Documented secure context (HTTPS / WebCrypto / OPFS / SharedArrayBuffer) proxy requirements & deb822/database helpers
• Synced the local pre-PR verification checklist
