Metadata isn't displaying correctly in Preview?

When I try to add metadata to a recipe, it displays as a series of steps instead.


This is using the formatting generated by cook.md, and it works in the playground. Any idea what's wrong?

I've managed to add metadata to .cook files using the >> prefix.
