I (and I imagine other people) rarely switch my main way of interacting with Jean. If I'm using codex/opencode I almost always use Jean Chat, if I'm using Claude I need to be using the native terminal session instead.
Currently, every time I open a new session instead of just using cmd + T as I'm used to in pretty much all software (browsers, terminal emulators, earlier Jean versions), I need to hit cmd + T and then Enter which is much less ergonomic (first one is using left hand, enter is usually pressed using the right hand).
Suggestion:
Something like what Warp does would be nice: cmd+t opens whatever your last/preferred method is (jean chat, terminal, native claude, etc...)
A new shortcut like cmd + shift + t could be assigned to instead open the interactive modal.
I'm willing to open a PR for this change.
