Broken encoding

when rendering images, encoding seems to break (primarily japanese/chinese characters)

Hey! Meant to reply to this sooner, sorry it slipped my mind. I'll go ahead and fix it for now and just run in on bare metal, but I wasn't able to figure out how to get fonts working in a docker container 😔 The exact same install commands that work on bare metal wouldn't work on the container

wouldnt installing cjk and nerdfonts inside the dockerfile suffice?

dont really know how your image rendering logic is implemented, but ig adding detection for unknown symbols and using a fallback font for their rendering should suffice?
