NullPointerException on DayPanel

A NullPointerException keeps getting thrown when trying to do certain tasks such as click a day on year view to get to that day and revalidating. It seems to be coming from the DayPanel class.

I'm not seeing any errors, at least not on the current dev branch. I wrote the code for year -> day view, and I don't see any obvious mistakes. Can you be more specific?

It is making a reference to the DayPanel class line 63. I think it has to do with a null assignment.
