I'm not a big fan of Juggluco's UI, so I was interested to try this, so these are my initial impressions and just a few hours
It certainly looks good!
The ability to quickly switch the graph from 1 Hr, 2 Hrs etc is a lot easier to use than pinch and zoom.
But since I didn't find any instructions, I did free in the dark quite a bit and not everything was obvious to me
Since I am a diabetic, I am cautious about breaking my working system and it is not clear how this works with other problem. Connecting direct to my Libre 2+ would be something I would want to leave until my sensor was almost expired and so if anything went wrong it would not cause my problem.
So I looked around for a way to get the information from existing programs. There is a section called Exchange Data which includes Libre (patched App), xdrip and GlucoDataHandler. However Exchange can be a two-way process and there is no indication of whether these are reading information from the sources or sending to them. Since I am currently using Juggluco to send to GDH, I tried enabling that, but nothing happened. (Also went into Juggluco and checked it and it appears it only sends to GlucoDataHandler)
So I decide to try the option to follow Nightscout (and to be fair, that makes it totally obvious that it supports Upload and follow) and that works perfecting.
I was surprised by the default target/alarm thresholds which was 3.6 and 9.9. I would have expected these to default to the standard 3.9 and 10. Any reason for this? It also suffers from a minor problem which I have seem in a lot of places in that the place that you change the targets does not make clear what happens when the figure is exactly equal to the entered value. In other words, when I set my low alert to be 3.9, does the alert trigger when my blood sugar reaches 3.9 or when it goes below 3.9
Statistics.
This is an example screenshot showing my 90Day stats. But since I have just started, I only have a few hours data, I assume the 395 means I have data for 395 minutes, but I don't really find that helpful. The calender dates is more helpful.
A1c
The label for A1C is cut off, but more importantly either the label or value is wrong as the label says A1C but the value is GMI percentage. Also, is there an option to display in IFCC (mmol/mol) units?
IQR
I must confess it is a long, long time since I did stats and my initial reaction was to click in the little i icon to see what IQR mean, but it did not appear to do anything. (I only later found that that it expands the box and displays the info off-screen).
This screenshot (or at least the preview) must be bigger than my actual phone screen, because whilst most of the information is readable, I would need my glasses (which I rarely use) to read the percentages for Very High, High, Low and Very Low. Is there any way these can be made bigger?
Dashboard
This is my dashboard which is my main screen and the main figure and arrow is big enough to see, but is it possible to add the delta?
I have no idea what the little green 4.2 on the sensor means.
Hope this doesn't come across as too negative, but it just initial impressions and there are a lot of other features that I have not played around with yet.
