There's been a request for tabs support, and it's not an unreasonable thing to ask for. I didn't add it to start with, in part because I was simply prototyping things and didn't give it much thought, but also in part because I thought I wouldn't need it. I've since found that even I'd quite like the ability to open another tab now and again.
This will mean I need to rethink the navigation history. Having one history per tab (note navigation history, not location history) is going to make it difficult to preserve that information between sessions (not impossible, just faff). I am giving serious thought to the idea that navigation history only lasts for a session.
