Adopt 2-3 cats, catify new home

• Look into breeds that are social/like to cuddle, like to explore the outdoors and are chill. Exploring the outdoors would be a bonus, not a requirement. If I want someone to go outdoors I can just get a dog, but I really like the courage of the cats that surf, scuba dive and swim, hike, etc.
• Find a bonded pair (or trio). I don't want them to always have company and not be alone like Moby was when I left the home

Work Towards Preparing for Cats

• Find ideal cat litter
• Find ideal cat litter box. Look into the self-cleaning ones and having more than 1 in the home
• look back at Jackson Galaxy's my cat from hell for ideas on catifying my home. I can put up shelves on the wall so they have their high spots, something like this
• Look into dual-purpose furniture, for example a desk like this would be nice, but I want a much larger one for all of my screens
