No Audio from raspotufy is passed through to the speaker

Relevant log output and/or the contents of /etc/raspotify/crash_report if any ( sudo journalctl -u raspotify -b and sudo cat /etc/raspotify/crash_report )

Seeing the same thing here. Mac and iPhone playback are fine. Problem is happening on multiple Spotify accounts.

Yeh, I wasnt sure if it was the hardware at first, but I've confirmed that, I wonder if its a librespot auth issue maybe, which I'm currently trying to work out, I've also removed and reinsatlled raspotify and still havev the same issues. So its not a config issue as far as I see.

Man I just finished installing raspotify on a new device and testing it but I got this error too, I thought I messed up somewhere and kept trying to fix it.

Sooo from my testing we can do

librespot -j

which then starts oauth, but as I'm doing this on my kodi pi, the OAuth does not return. If someone has a desktop Pi to test to see if the auth fixes it that be awesome,

Ok tested with username and password in the conf file

So my guess is it needs OAuth :D

Unfortunately it does not work with OAuth either, I connected to OAuth with ´librespot --cache /var/cache/raspotify -j´ but it still gives the same error code:

I configured the system yesterday and wnet to sleep with the playlist running. This morning, I woke up to no sound. I initially thought it was due to a new session on my phone triggered by my "music" alarm. Thus began my endless frustrating saga: I reinstalled, reconfigured, and tested repeatedly, but the error persisted. As someone new to this, my lack of confidence led me to assume I’d made a mistake somewhere. After stressing myself out with no success, I finally learned the issue wasn’t my fault. Yet, I still feel no better!

Don't beat yourself up, it happens to everybody! That's how I spent some of my morning too. With time, you'll figure it out quicker!

I run Raspotify on an RK322x TV Box connected to a DAC. This morning I ran into the same problem. I tried playing an MP3 over SSH and it worked. I assumed it was something beyond my control. Searching here and in the LibreSpot issues didn't find anything.

I was listening to music on my PC and my Bluetooth was having problems. It's two independent systems, and both failed on the same day, haha.

At least I fixed my Bluetooth, and tonight, seeing the messages here, I'm sure it was beyond my control.

EDIT: One suggestion is to take advantage of this event to do some maintenance on our raspotify system.
