Send notification email to manager archetype

Can we add a toggle where notification emails are also sent to users with manager role/manager archetype? Or maybe send to all users with trainer role on the course? We host a site for a client where the notification emails for new enrolments are not being received by some trainers/managers and the current workaround is we set up an email autoforwarding from one of our site administrator accounts. It looks like it only sends to one trainer per course.

Thanks for the enhancement request — this sounds like a useful improvement, especially for sites where multiple trainers/managers need visibility of new enrolments.

At the moment it appears notifications are only sent to a single admin, so we can understand why the email forwarding workaround is needed. Adding an option to notify manager roles or all assigned trainers would definitely make this more flexible.

yep confirmed by looking at the code that it only gets the first user with the capability to update course:
