This page is a global guide on how to contribute to the dummymeuporg project, mostly as a software developer.

Tooling

The tools we are using on this project are:

CMake (version >= 3.10)
GCC (version >= 9.1) for Linux related builds.
Build Tools for Visual Studio 2019 (with msvc==14.1) for Windows related builds
Qt open source (version >= 5.12.4) for the editor and the launcher
Boost (version == 1.69.0) for (mostly) each C++ sub project.
Lua for scripting maps, NPCs and co.

As for the IDE, you are free to chose the one you're most at ease with. If you are a beginner, we suggest you use Qt Creator.
