ctrl-p should show previous prompt / input

What happened?

it's unix/linux default (i suppose) to show previous command on bash, works with codex and claude too, so as a user who moved here from codex and claude, ctrl-p changing model was a bit of a surprise and felt like a bit of a limitation

oh and ctrl-n should show next prompt too, when i'm already back using ctrl p. works with claude code and codex too

I'm afraid that's not going to happen. Existing pi users are used to these bindings. You can change key-bindings though. Ask pi.

Thanks. I did change bindings for my local installation. Just a general feedback: while I understand it's hard to move folks away from current bindings, simple things like these are some of the sources of friction for people moving from more popular harnesses like Codex and Claude Code when they're evaluating Pi. Like someone recently said on hacker news, good tools are invisible (or seamless to use, as I would like to phrase it). These LLM harnesses being used predominantly by developer crowd, and these bindings being popular within developer community, makes me feel it's especially important to carefully choose bindings which overwrites well-known unix system bindings.

Sorry if it came out as a bit of preachy unsolicited advice. Feel free to ignore. I am nothing more than just a random person shouting on the Internet 😃
