Can I use rspack instead of webpack for building?

Webpack is pretty slow - it's annoying to develop with.
Has anyone tried Rspack?

haven't worked with rspack specifically yet, but I've revived my esbuild PR for Theia a few days ago. That change will likely get into the upcoming release. It decreases build times on my machine from ~30s to ~1s.

Theoretically, you can use any bundler with Theia. However, Theia has a rather complicated build setup, which requires a lot of configuration+bundler plugins. So it's not really recommended to roll your own build solution.
