Steps to reproduce
This is something I noticed in the logs of matrix.org. The only thing I know is that the session was likely ended remotely (in the account.matrix.org UI)

Client asks for a token refresh in loop (~8 req/s) even though the server tells it that the grant is invalid
What happened instead?
The client to noticed that it's logged out and stop asking for a refresh
