keytar timeout issue

I have installed keytar using keytar-install, its installed in the ~/.emacs.d/.cache/keytar
If I test it using

~/.emacs.d/.cache/keytar/bin/keytar set-pass -s "asd" -a "default" -p "asd"

Its giving following error

[Error: Error calling StartServiceByName for org.freedesktop.secrets: Timeout was reached]

The following command works

~/.emacs.d/.cache/keytar/bin/keytar --version

and gives

0.1.4

[jcs090218]

This looks like an upstream issue, by seeing the thread here. 😕
