Do we want to have the setup ready in case we want this or should I consider this unplanned until further notice? I am happy to install babelquarto and lay the groundwork for (partial) translation.

If we set things up to allow multiple languages on the website (like in https://www.joelnitta.com/), would you be able to support us with the actual translation, or review of the translation (we can use DeepL for the first draft) to French?

I started setting up the infrastructure and noticed the following that we will need to resolve:

1. Netlify deploy previews are not yet supported and will require some work if we want to keep them (advisable)
2. Sudden CSS changes in the navigation that need to be debugged and fixed

3. We can only deploy the full translation - links won't work internally in a translated language otherwise (for example, clicking the french link for "Getting started" will only work if there is a translation, it will not automatically default to the specified main language if no french version present). This may prove especially problematic for blog posts/resources, as that would require translating on an ongoing basis (including backlog).
4. We will need a process that ensures that content stays in-sync, as it can quickly happen that copy is changed in English without updating the translation(s)
5. The deploy build will fail if babelquarto is set up but there is only one language, so we can only set this up dependent on an available translation (for example, french)

So before continuing on setting up the infrastructure, could we define the scope for this? It seems like there are consequences that may end up taking more consideration than initially expected.
