Why do I need to change the Enphase envoy token daily? #32627

Every morning I notice that I have an error with the Enphase connection. The envoy.local/login gives a 401 error while it was working perfectly the day before. Obviously I can generate a new token and restore the access. However, this is cumbersome and unnecessary. Other apps, for example the Homewizard app can access my enphase data by providing my login details without the need to re-validate the access every day. How can this be fixed? |

Additional information: around 8:45 CET I acquired a new token from Enphase. Today at 23:24 CET, according to the evcc log, access to the enphase meter was no longer possible. Interestingly, if I validate the configuration I'm getting a validation successful message despite no data showing and every 30 seconds the same issue in the log. I also raised the issue with Enphase. |

I followed the instructions on https://docs.evcc.io/en/meters/enphase-iq-gateway and on https://enphase.com/download/iq-gateway-local-apis-or-ui-access-using-token to the letter. There seems to be only one token flavour.
Any suggestions where I acquire the right token?

Changing the system owner is, as far as I know, subject to a fee. I assume you’re a self-installer as well? Better to try the workaround via Home Assistant and use this integration: https://github.com/vincentwolsink/home_assistant_enphase_envoy_installer |
