It would be very useful to extend the Remote functionality with proper multi-user and permission management.
For installations with multiple wallboxes/charge points (for example, 8 wallboxes in one evcc installation), different users should be able to have their own Remote accounts with access only to the wallbox(es) assigned to them.
Requested functionality
An administrator can create and manage multiple users.
Each user can be assigned to one or more specific wallboxes/charge points.
After logging in, users only see the wallboxes assigned to them.
Regular users should only have access to normal charging-related functions, such as viewing the charging status and controlling their assigned charging point.
Regular users should not have access to configuration or administrative settings.
Only administrators should be able to change the evcc configuration, manage users, assign wallboxes, or modify system-wide settings.
Example use case
An evcc installation manages 8 wallboxes used by different people. Each person receives their own Remote account and can access only their assigned wallbox.
For example:
User A → Wallbox 1
User B → Wallbox 2
User C → Wallboxes 3 and 4
Admin → All wallboxes and all configuration options
This would make evcc Remote much more suitable for shared installations, multi-family homes, apartment buildings, small businesses, and other environments where multiple users share one evcc instance but should not have access to each other’s charging points or administrative settings.
