[Bug]: Some parts of the card are not visible on Andriod

Requirements

• I checked the README.
• I have updated entity-progress-card to the latest available version.
• I did a search to see if there is a similar issue.

Current Behavior

Bottom part of the card is not visible on the phone version of HA then OS has setting of the font set to something bigger than default.
No matter how do I try to set the card parameters, margins/widths etc. the bottom part is always hidden

When I change the android settings to default font size then the card looks properly, but this is not acceptable workaround.

Expected Behavior

All part of the card are visible despite of the font size set it android OS.

Steps To Reproduce

Run the android HA app and change the font size to some large value in the OS.

Hi @zkurzyns,

Before I dig further — the YAML block in your report currently just says "all configs" (looks like a placeholder that didn't get replaced). Could you paste your actual card config?

Also, a specific question: is this card used standalone, or is it nested inside another card that combines several cards together (vertical-stack, horizontal-stack, grid, stack-in-card, etc.)? On simple standalone cards I haven't been able to reproduce clipping yet, so I want to check whether an aggregator is imposing its own height on the card before assuming it's purely a font-scaling issue on our side.

If you have one, the aggregator's own YAML (the parent card wrapping this one) would help too.

Hi @zkurzyns,

1.6.1-rc3 is out with a fix for text clipping when the OS/browser's own font-size accessibility setting is scaled up (e.g. Android's system "Font size" option) — name/secondary_info rows now grow to fit instead of cutting text off mid-glyph.

I still don't have your actual card config or whether it's standalone vs. nested in an aggregator (vertical-stack, grid, etc.) — if this doesn't fully fix what you were seeing, that context would really help narrow it down. Hi, it doesn't matter if it was standalone or nested, in both cases there were the same effect.
But after upgrading to 1.6.1-rc3 text is displayed properly and the issue can be closed.

🎉 1.6.1-rc4 is out! This one should be the last release candidate before the stable 1.6.1 release.

If you have a bit of time, it'd be great if you could retest all your cards and let me know if you run into any issues — always better to catch something now than after the stable release ships.
